Coastal interiors borrow their palette from the shoreline rather than from nautical decor — sand, driftwood, sea glass and bleached linen instead of anchors and rope. The defining move is light: pale surfaces bounce daylight around, and window treatments stay sheer so the view does the decorating. Materials look weathered on purpose, as if salt air has already softened them.

Applied to the showroom, this style works best when the layout fundamentals are right first. A showroom is a stage, and the product is the actor. Keep the architecture recessive — neutral floor, quiet walls, invisible track lighting — so nothing competes with what is being shown. Plan a walking sequence with a clear beginning and a strong closing view, and leave enough empty floor that a customer can step back far enough to judge scale.
