The waiting area sets expectation, so keep it bright, quiet and free of clinical instrumentation on display; treatment rooms need cold-accurate light for the work and something calm in the patient sightline. Every surface has to survive daily disinfection, which rules out most of what makes a room feel warm — so warmth has to come from wood tone, textile and light temperature instead.
