What is Render plugin?
An extension that sends the current viewport of a CAD/3D application to a rendering service with one click. Archome ships free plugins for SketchUp and 3ds Max.

A render plugin is an extension installed inside a CAD or 3D program that connects it to a rendering engine or cloud service. For viewport-based AI rendering, the plugin captures the current view and sends it for rendering, then returns the result without leaving the application.
Why it matters
Saving a screenshot, finding it, uploading it and downloading the output is a small chore that adds up across dozens of iterations. A plugin removes that loop, so the designer stays in the model, adjusts the camera, and renders again. It also makes it easier to keep a consistent camera across variations.
Example
In SketchUp, you frame a view, press the plugin button, and a rendered image comes back in the same session. Changing the model and clicking again produces the updated version.
Common mistake
Installing a plugin built for a different software version, or running it without an account connection. Check version compatibility, and make sure you are signed in so renders are linked to your account. Also remember a plugin only sends what the viewport shows, so a messy view gives a messy render.
Practical tips
Keep the plugin updated and restart the host program after installing so it loads correctly. Save a scene for each camera you need and name them clearly, which makes batches of views easy to produce. Hide helper geometry before sending, and keep a record of which prompt belongs to which scene so later revisions match the earlier ones.
