What should I charge agents for virtually staged photos?

Pricing follows what the alternative costs your client, not what the image costs you. The agent's alternatives are a human editing service at $16-$37 per photo with a one-to-two day turnaround, or physical staging at four figures for the listing. Against that, $25-$50 per photo delivered same-day is an easy sell — and it is the band photographers actually quote.

Two adjustments worth making. Charge more when the room is occupied: emptying a furnished room and then restaging it is two operations and the market prices it around $40-$80. And price per listing rather than per photo when you can — a flat listing rate for the full set removes the haggling over which photos get staged.

Your cost side is fixed and small. An Ultra image is 30 credits; the $29 plan covers about 33 of them and the $99 credit pack about 166. For a photographer shooting several listings a week the software cost per shoot is a rounding error against the shoot fee — which is exactly why this became a standard add-on service rather than a product agents buy themselves.
