Does it do CAD drafting or BIM?

Archome sits after drafting, not instead of it. You draw in AutoCAD, model in Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, ArchiCAD or on paper; Archome turns what you produced into an image. There is no drafting canvas, no layer system, no families and no IFC.

One partial exception is worth knowing about. The Detail tool runs in the opposite direction: it generates construction-documentation-style drawings from a render — plans, sections and detail views in a drawn idiom. Those are presentation and communication artefacts, useful for conveying an idea. They are not dimensioned, coordinated construction documents and must not be treated as such.

There is also a 2D-to-3D tool that returns a textured GLB mesh from a single image, which drops into SketchUp, Blender, Unreal or Three.js. Again, that is a visualisation asset — geometry good enough to look at and place in a scene, not a modelling base you would build a project on.

If what you need is BIM authoring, clash detection, quantity extraction or code checking, those are entirely different products and we are not one of them.
