Does the AI move walls, windows or doors?
No. Wall positions, window and door count and position, ceiling height and camera framing are locked to the input photo. Only finishes, furniture, greenery and light change.
This is the single most common failure of AI tools used on property photos, and the most common reason agents abandon them: a door vanishes, a window slides along a wall, a fireplace or an air-conditioning unit appears in a house that has neither. The image looks good and misrepresents the home, which is the one thing a listing photo cannot do.
Archome treats the input as a photo-editing task rather than a generation task. Geometry, massing, openings and camera come from your image and are held fixed; the style request is applied to materials, finishes, colour, furniture, decor, fixtures, greenery and lighting only. Ask it to open up a wall and it will decline the geometry and restyle the surfaces instead.
There is a legitimate case for changing structure — an architect exploring a remodel, a flipper pricing a wall removal — and that is a different job with different tools in the product, done deliberately and labelled as a concept. It is never what happens quietly inside a staging render.
If you ever see geometry drift in an output, that is a defect and worth reporting; the constraint is meant to hold on every render.
