Does AI rendering keep my actual design?
Yes — that is the core difference from a general image AI. Room positions, wall lines, proportions and camera angle are preserved; the AI adds materials, furniture, light and context on top of your geometry.
General image models such as Midjourney or DALL-E generate a plausible building. Architectural rendering has to do something harder: keep the building you actually designed and change only its finish. If the AI moves a window or invents a staircase, the image is worthless as a design communication tool, however attractive it looks.
Archome is built around geometry preservation. Feed it a sketch, a CAD line drawing, a plan or a viewport capture, and the output holds the layout, the openings, the massing and the viewpoint you gave it. What the model adds is everything you did not draw: materials, lighting, vegetation, sky, furniture, people and context.
The practical consequence is that you can put the result next to your drawing and defend it. A client, a planning committee or a contractor can look at the render and the plan together and see the same building. That is the test a concept image has to pass before it earns a place in a submission.
Preservation is not absolute and it is fair to say so. Very heavy annotation, cluttered line work or a low-resolution photograph gives the model less to hold onto, and detail can drift. A clean, geometry-only export produces noticeably more faithful results than a marked-up working drawing.
