Coohom Alternative — Render Your Real Space, Not a Rebuilt Model

Modelling suite versus a render of what you already have.

What Coohom is

Coohom is a browser-based 3D interior design suite: you model the space, place products from a large catalogue, and render the scene in the cloud. It is aimed at interior designers and furniture retailers who want a complete model and a product list at the end.

It is a modelling tool first. The quality of the output depends on how carefully you assembled the scene.

Where Archome AI differs

Archome AI removes the modelling step entirely. A phone photo, a sketch, a plan or a viewport screenshot is enough, and the render keeps the geometry that input shows.

You are not choosing between "detailed" and "fast" — you are choosing between two different jobs. Building a catalogue-accurate model is one job; putting a photographic image of a real room in front of a client is another.

Choose Coohom if

  • The deliverable is a 3D model plus a product/BOM list
  • You are specifying real catalogue SKUs for procurement
  • You need to walk a client through a navigable 3D scene

Choose Archome AI if

  • The deliverable is an image, and it is needed today
  • The space already exists and you do not want to rebuild it
  • You want many style directions fast, before committing to one

Frequently asked

Does Archome AI produce a 3D model?+

It can — the 2D-to-3D tool reconstructs a textured GLB mesh from a single image, which opens in Blender, SketchUp, Unreal or a web viewer. It is a visualisation asset, not a measured construction model.

Can I keep my existing furniture in the render?+

Yes. Because the input photo is preserved, existing furniture stays where it is unless you ask for it to change. To swap only one surface, Material Swap changes that material and leaves the rest alone.

Is Archome AI free to try against Coohom?+

Yes. Every account gets 100 free credits per month with no credit card. Free renders run at Ultra quality (30 credits each), which is about 3 renders a month — enough to compare output on your own project rather than on marketing samples.

Can I use the renders commercially?+

On any paid plan, yes — files are watermark-free and carry a full commercial licence. Free-plan renders are watermarked and intended for evaluation and personal use.

What should I actually compare?+

Run the same input through both tools and zoom in on the parts that matter: did the window count change, is the wall line still straight, are the proportions still yours? Marketing pages do not settle this — a side-by-side on your own photo does.
