Grasshopper produces variation faster than any presentation workflow can keep up with. Twenty facade iterations exist in the definition; showing them to anyone means baking geometry, assigning materials and rendering twenty times, and by then the definition has changed again.

So most parametric work gets presented as what it looks like on screen: grey meshes on a white background. That reads as a diagram to a client, not as a building — and a decision gets made on the diagram.

Do I need to bake the Grasshopper geometry first?+
